Pass it on.
Keep it safe.
Everything you need to get a spare Fringe ticket into the right hands—without accidentally sharing the rest of your booking.
Share one ticket, not your whole booking.
Some booking-confirmation QR codes cover every show bought in the same transaction. Never send that code unless the issuer confirms it is only for the ticket you mean to give away.
From spare
to shared.
- 01
Check it can be transferred
Read the ticket issuer's current instructions. Only list a ticket you own, can share, and are giving away completely free.
- 02
Post the essentials
Add the show, performance start time, venue and number of tickets. Keep email addresses, phone numbers and ticket codes out of the public listing.
- 03
Choose someone privately
Requests arrive in your Bangs conversations. Confirm the exact show, date, time and quantity before moving the ticket.
- 04
Send only that ticket
Use the issuer's official transfer or share option where available. If your Fringe booking email offers Apple or Google Wallet, add the individual show first, then share the individual wallet pass, its link, or a screenshot only when the issuer permits it.
- 05
Mark it taken
Once the recipient confirms they have it, mark the listing taken. Clicked too soon? You can relist an upcoming ticket from My listings.
Ways to pass it on.
Official transfer
Use the issuer's own transfer or share feature when one is provided.
Individual wallet pass
Share the pass or its link after checking it contains only the intended show.
Screenshot
Send an image only if screenshots are accepted and the code is for that ticket alone.
Master booking QR
It may unlock every show in the transaction. Keep it private.
Before you
head out.
Check the details
Match the show, date, start time, venue and ticket quantity with the listing.
Save it now
Open the pass or image before leaving. Conversations expire after the performance, so keep what you need.
Never pay
Every Bangs ticket is free. If anyone asks for money, stop and report it.
Say if plans change
Tell the giver quickly so the ticket can be relisted for someone else.
Good to know.
Does Bangs send the ticket?
No. Bangs introduces giver and receiver through a private conversation. You arrange the transfer yourselves using a method the issuer allows.
Will I get an email for every message?
Not necessarily. You should get an email when someone first contacts you, but replies may be grouped. Check Conversations directly when a performance is close.
Can I share a screenshot?
Sometimes, but check the issuer's instructions first. Make sure the image is accepted for entry and shows only the individual ticket you intend to share.
I marked a ticket taken by mistake. What now?
Open My listings and relist it. Relisting is available while the performance is still upcoming.
Something feels wrong. What should I do?
Stop the transfer, do not send money or sensitive information, and email hello@bangs.show with the listing link and a short explanation.
